Representative Commissioners from all around the PCUSA denomination gather every two years, this is the gathering of the General Assembly (GA) of the Presbyterian Church USA.
The GA met this summer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to pray and worship together, seeking God’s will for the broader church in areas of mission, public action, and the work of the local and world wide church.
Park Lake had the opportunity to hear from some of our Central Florida Presbytery leadership who had an up close view, serving as commissioners and representatives to the GA. The Rev. Dr. Geoff McLean, our new Presbytery Executive, and Rev. Dr. Martin Concepcion, a GA commissioner, led the discussion.
