Park Lake has a Diaconate, that is Board of Deacons. The ministry of Deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of compassion, witness, and service; sharing in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ for the poor, the hungry, the sick, the lost, the friendless, the oppressed, or anyone in distress.
Park Lake’s Deacons serve a two year term. They are:

• Billie Jo Elliott – Bereavement Ministry, Diaconate Treasurer
• Susan Frith – Congregational Care Ministry
* John Hunter – Emergency Assistance Ministry
• Barbara Martin – Hospitality Ministry, Diaconate Secretary
• Cindy Schmidt – Congregational Care Ministry, Diaconate Moderator
A Deacon is present in worship every Sunday standing with a co-pastor at the end of the service to offer care and prayer. Please reach out to the Deacons if you are in need of care.
