Bread for the World ( www.bread.org) is a Christian advocacy organization urging decision makers to support policies and programs to end hunger in the United States and around the world.
Every year, Bread for the World organizes churches, community organizations and people of faith from across the country to write letters and emails to their members of Congress who have the power to impact the policies and programs that can end hunger.
Park Lake Presbyterian Church has participated in the Offering of Letters for many years. This year, Sunday, May 10 and 17, will be our Offering of Letters Sundays, when you will be invited to write a letter.
