We are excited about the re-organization of a Board of Deacons for Park Lake Presbyterian Church after a 40 year hiatus!
On Sunday, October 17 in worship, our new Deacons were ordained and installed to provide leadership in:
• Congregational Care
• Bereavement Ministry
• Hospitality Ministry
• Emergency Assistance Ministry
The Board of Deacons, also called the Diaconate, will work in partnership with the Session of Elders to enhance the work and ministry of Park Lake.
Ordained and Installed: Nancy Clark, Pam Coburn and Evie Park.
Installed: Howard Vincent Kurtz, Doug Lawton and Cheryl Woods.
